Introduction to DaMarque Media
The company’s roots go all the way back to 1971 and the mail ordering business. Back then the mail was the internet and people would write personal checks to purchase various products. Specialty publications were the websites we know of today and the publications audience could be considered little baby Googles.
Placing ads in specialty publications was an art form one developed over time. In those day’s one knew they’d have to wait a considerable amount of time to start getting feedback from each placement. At that time tracking each placement was done by hand and large campaigns often required several additional staff members.
The company began investing in television advertising in the early-eighties and found a niche generating leads for specialty products and services. It was the mail order business all over again only this time on television.
It was around 1994 that a chance encounter became the catalyst for the company to start providing media placements online. Online placements provided our television efforts a brand new weapon to swiftly test our client’s products before they went to the television audience.
This drove the price down for our television advertising and strengthened our positions with television stations in the US. At that time there wasn’t a whole lot of people in the know as to how the internet could and would later play a pivotal role in business.
There’s no doubt, were confident about the role the internet plays in any businesses success. More importantly, every campaign we’ve ever run is to the benefit of all our future clients. We’re able to provide high quality placements that don’t break the budget.
We’re proud to say that we’re currently serving several second generation entrepreneurs and that we’re still generating leads and sales for products and services.
